*THE BEGINNING OF A RELATIONSHIP* Initial Contact and Excitement Jason’s view: “I viewed Jenna’s profile more times than I could count; her eyes drew me in, and her red hair was so beautiful to me.I finally mustered the courage to send her a message early one morningShe responded later that night while I was working the night shiftI was so giddy, like a high school crush feeling; I almost drove off the road on the way home texting her, lol.” Jenna’s view: “I was just about to give up on dating apps all together at the time I met Jason. I was just having horrible luck with other men and was getting tired from it all. Out of the blue I saw that this cute guy messaged me and I knew after looking at his picture that I just had to respond. Almost like a pulling force was guiding me to him.” First Date Nerves and Hesitation Jason’s view: “I was pretty persistent about going out on a date with her, maybe too much, but I just felt something specialSo, after what felt like forever, we set up a date in Wadena at UptownWe hit it off so much that we almost didn’t get to order food; they were about to close the kitchen down,We ate, then decided to walk around Wadena.I got shy and didn’t try to hold her handI walked her to her car and said goodnightAgain, I got shy and didn’t go for a kiss, lol.” Jenna’s view:“I was actually a little scared but excited at the same time. He wouldn’t stop asking to see me even though it was only a couple hours since we last saw one another. I didn’t want to be so called “loved bombed,” as some would say, so I was trying to be careful but the excitement I felt was just so intense I couldn’t help myself or hold back. I couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’t make any moves in person though. He sure talked a good game 😉.” A Deep Connection Forms Jason’s view: “The same night, we went out again, then walked to the park and danced under the stars—a first for both of us. After all of our talks, our pasts were so similar, and we thought so alikeI just knew she was the one; I felt it deep inside.” Jenna’s view: “That night as we danced under the stars, I just knew we were meant to be. I was trying not to get too excited but the love I was feeling and how perfectly balanced everything felt couldn’t pull me away. There was a definite reason we have crossed paths. I just knew it. We committed to one another right off the bat. There was something happening to us that was so familiar but yet so different at the same time.” The Proposal at the Wishing Well Jasons view: “A little back story: We went to Duluth together during the first weekend after we met (only about 6 days after meeting one another) andWhile we were walking, we came upon a wishing well.We both stopped and made a wish and swore to secrecy what our wish was. I told her that if the wish came true that I would tell her what I wished, but only then.Almost a year to the day, I chose to tell her that my wish had come true. I got on one knee and proposed to her at that very same wishing well. We then told one another what our initial wish was a year prior and it turned out that we both wished that we had found “the one” and that we would get married to one other.” Jenna’s view: “The day of the proposal I knew something was happening I could just feel it. I didn’t catch on until we started getting closer to the well that we had wished upon a year prior, then I knew. As he got down on one knee. I felt every fiber in my being scream in excitement but we were out in public too, so I was a little embarrassed at the same time. All I could say was “Of course! Of course!’ I don’t think I even said yes! We both were just so overwhelmed 😊 &lt;3.” We still haven't spent a day apart since we met almost 2 in a half years ago. Declaration of Love Jason: “She is the love of my life. She is perfect for me!” Jenna: “It couldn’t be any better than what it is. Everything in my life, and I mean everything, has led me to him.”

1. When do we need to RSVP by?We are asking everyone to RSVP by March 2026. If you can’t till later, its ok too. Just need a headcount by the beginning of June 2026. 2. What do I do if I can’t make it?We completely understand if you can’t make it. Please still RSVP stating that you are declining because we need a headcount for the ceremony and for the reception dinner following. 3. Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?Yes. Both venues are at the same venue. Grandview Lodge &amp; Resort. 4. Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?The ceremony is in the small chapel, so it will be indoors. Same for the Heritage room, where the reception is being held at. Only time you would be outdoors is when you are moving from the ceremony to the reception hall in the main lodge. 5. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?Yes, it is wheelchair accessible. You can even take a shuttle anywhere on the property, if you can’t walk or have trouble walking. 6. What time should we arrive at the wedding?If you have never been to Grandview Lodge, we would advise for you to arrive 45 mins to an hour early.If you have been there and know it well, we would advise for you to arrive around 30 mins early. 7. Is there available parking?There is parking right next to the chapel where our ceremony is. There is also parking by the main lodge where our reception will be. Other than that, there are a ton of places to park throughout Grandview itself. 8. Is there anywhere local we can stay?There are a ton of places to stay near the lodge, like hotels, motels, lodges and even cabins, if you fancy. You can even stay at Grandview if you wanted to. Nisswa, MN is a gorgeous area in northern Minnesota. It is considered the “vacation spot” for the state, especially people from the twin cities. We have tons of families vacationing here all throughout the year. There are a number of them too that own their own cabins, for its gorgeous and serene, with water/lakes throughout the area. 9. Are children allowed?Yes. All children are definitely able to attend. The more the merrier! 10. Is there a dress code and what should I wear?Yes. It’ll be semi formal. Please read the attached tab explaining what you can wear. Any more questions, please feel free to message me and I will further explain it to you. 11. Will there be food and drinks served?Yes. There will be a sit down dinner at the reception. 12. What should we do if we have dietary requirements?Please inform us either by the RSVP card or even online here in a message, if you have any dietary concerns. I’m more than happy to accommodate you or anyone else with any changes. 13. What can we bring you as a gift? As you may know, we have already established a lovely home for ourselves and have all the house-things we’ll ever need. Your attendance to our wedding is the greatest gift we could ever want, but for those that have shown interest in a gift offering, to celebrate the occasion we have set up an online honeymoon account that people can donate to to help us with our honeymoon expenses. If you don't feel comfortable donating cash you can always forgo the gift or choose anything else that you think we will enjoy. Again, just having you as our guest is the biggest gift we could ever get :) 14. Can I bring a plus one?Absolutely! Please let us know though as soon as you can if you are bringing a guest. We just need to know for our sit-down dinner. 15. Any local recommendations for food?There are plenty plenty options for food there in Nisswa, MN and the surrounding area. Like what I sated earlier, this is the prime spot for vacationers from near and far, so there a ton of really nice quaint places scattered throughout the area. 16. Please refer to the guide below. Gentleman don't have to wear a blazer or sports coat, they can wear a nice dress shirt instead. Women please only wear dresses/jumpsuits that hit right below the knee, mid calf, maxi or floor length. Other than that we are pretty relaxed. Just wanted it to be a little dressier than the usual wedding since it'll be in the evening.
